Two day training engaged 25 participants from Multi-Stakeholder group,administrating audit group, representatives of World Bank and media. Ingilab Ahmadov has delivered modules on compliance of Tajikistan with EITI requirements, current obstacles for becoming a candidate country and social spendings. Azer Mehdiyev has delivered sessions on quasi-fiscal spendings and monitoring of extraction. The theoretical parts of the training were followed by group works, which engaged participants in the process of defining a strategic action plan for overcoming challenges for approval of Tajikistan’s EITI membership.
