    Ingilab Ahmadov

    Director of Eurasia Hub

    Prof. Ahmadov became director of Eurasia Extractive Industries Knowledge Hub and Dean of the School of Economics and Management at Khazar University in 2010.

    His research interests are oil & gas economy and impact of oil revenues on economy, Caspian energy resources, and oil contracts. He mainly teaches courses in Energy Management and Caspian Energy.

    Prof. Ahmadov is a visiting professor of leading universities such as Kiel Institute for the World Economy as well as Oxford and Reading University.

  • Nazaket Azimli

    Nazaket Azimli

    Communications and Development Manager

    Nazaket joined NRGI’s Eurasia hub as a communications and development manager in 2016. She is also an adjunct lecturer at Khazar University, holding an MA from King’s College London in international political economy (2015). Her latest research focused on the impact of local content policies on human capital development; analysis of the challenges in communication strategies of sovereign wealth funds, gendered resource curse. Prior to joining the Eurasia hub, Nazaket worked as a political risk consultant in London and as region, country and city branding specialist in Madrid. She is among the organizers of the Equals Initiative, which promotes public discussion around gender equality.

  • Turana Alieva

    Turana Alieva

    Communications Manager

    Turana Alieva started working at Eurasia Hub as a communications manager in 2019. She holds a bachelor's degree from Khazar University majoring in International Relations. She also attended Summer University on Political Psychology at the Central European University.  She previously worked for different development agencies like UNDP Azerbaijan and GIZ. She is also a research fellow at Topchubashov Center and co-founder of Earthpreneurs Azerbaijan, the initiative by young people promoting sustainable development goals and entrepreneurship.
