Residential phase of Blended Learning Course completed

Eurasia Extractive Industries Knowledge has hosted the Residential Phase of Blended Learning Course in Revenue Management at Khazar University on November 27- December 6. The Residential phase is the midpoint between the Online Course and post-residential Policy Analysis Assignment parts.

The residential phase consisted of the lectures covering topics on spending patterns, budgeting, monetary policy and development strategies. In order to be equipped with skills and knowledge for writing the policy analysis Farid Guliyev and Elchin Rashidov delivered sessions in policy analysis tools. Particular attention was paid to following up theoretical knowledge with the practical exercises, which helped to apply gained knowledge to real world cases.

22 participants from six countries will be writing policy papers in upcoming 2 months focusing on challenges of resource governance in their respective countries.
