27 participants from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Tajikistan and Ukraine joined the training.
The founder of Khazar University and Chairman of Board of Directors and Trustees, Prof. Hamlet Isaxanli, welcomed the guests. The Regional Deputy Director of Swiss Cooperation Office, Ms Simone Haeberli, followed his speech, welcoming the participants and wishing them fruitful learning processes at the training sessions. Thereafter, Regional Director of NRGI Galib Efendiev said that it’s the first time that the Hub is conducting a specific training on legal and fiscal frameworks and the decision to hold this thematic course was made based upon needs of the countries in the region.
Director of Eurasia Hub, Ingilab Ahmadov, opened the first session of the training facilitating brief introduction of training participants. Senior Legal Expert from NRGI, Amir Shafaie, delivered the first session of the training on ‘Legal Frameworks and Role of Contracts’. The second session on ‘Allocation of licenses and negotiations’ was followed by practical group work on the concepts of legal frameworks.
